Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 – Mira Has The SSJ4 Look! (Final Mission Spoiler)

I tend not to write stuff that includes spoilers, but I couldn’t help it for this one. Spoiler Alert for the final mission in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (not like there’s a legit story in this game anyway).

Mira Looks Dominant and All-Powerful

I’ve been getting back into Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 recently, after being busy with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Yooka-Laylee, Divinity Original Sin, World of Warcraft and a few others. But I did manage to complete the campaign.

While the campaign is boring because it is almost a direct copy from the first game, there’s something about Mira that reminds me of a particular Dragon Ball GT form. And that’s his final form. When I first saw him transform, my face lit up with excitement. He transforms into what essentially looks like the appearance of Super Saiyan 4 from Dragon Ball GT, which isn’t canon.

Very Similar to SSJ4

Now GT wasn’t amazing, we all know that, but it definitely had some neat things about it. SSJ4 for one, was perhaps one of the best things to come out of it. The whole appearance just felt so intimidating to their foes. With Saiyan tails, it goes very nicely with the whole ‘primal’ and ‘savage’ feel Super Saiyan 4.

The same can be said for Mira’s final form. Although he isn’t a Saiyan, they’ve obviously ripped the SSJ4 style from GT. Which isn’t a bad thing. It makes Mira look far more powerful and dominant. Not to mention, it was a surprise. I wouldn’t say it makes the campaign great, though.

What do you think of Mira’s final form in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2?

  1. Totes agree. I’d love for Xenoverse to explain these things, or, at the very least, NPC comment on it.

It feels like the script writers and the designers just didn’t want to talk to each other.
